Title: (2008) Bend it Like Pig

Finding a suitable Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) would benefit over 75 000 Canadians who undergo ACL replacement every year.Pig ligaments transplantations does not have these disadvantages. At the Orthopaedic Biomedical Laboratory at CHEO I tested the harvested pig ligaments at various conditions. I compared the performances of the pig ligaments with synthetic materials. I found pig ligaments are better than synthetic ligaments in performances.
