Keep the Heat, Lose the Loss
New potentially patentable type of insulation has been created from recycled rubber tires mixed with bonding agents. The effectiveness of the insulation was proven from temperature tests in comparison to Styrofoam SM insulation. Applications include foundation insulation, roadway subgrade insulation for protection from frost heave, and underground pipe freeze protection.
